Are there any flight sims where you can fly a helicopter on the market? Preferably a combat simulator, one that's structured around missions rather than a free-form flight sim. I remember when I was a kid playing all the Microprose flight sims (particularly F-19 and F-117A), but when I got the chopper one (was it called Gunship or something?) I found it much harder to control than th jet-based ones, so I'd like to give it another go! :)

Gunship! was an awesome game :D also have a look at Comanche 4 and Comanche Hokum, Apache Havok's worth a look too but it's getting a bit old now.

That's due to it being the oldest out of two, Commanche Hokum is the updated version and there is even a newer version called Enemy Engaged Commanche vs Hokum 2 as well.

Microsoft FSX will allow you to fly hundreds of helios' either payware or freeware, but no real combat action to them, though there is missions in some, e.g. fly to top of mountain and pick up survivors of plane crash.

I'll second EECH as a game well worth trying... although the graphics are a little dated, the gameplay is excellent, and wins over the previous king of the Helo's Longbow2 :)
