Hi Guys, These are the two im looking at:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-318-CM

And

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-049-AE

Now: the Xpredator allows (and includes) a larger 200mm intake fan which is nice, But id really like to fit two side case LED fans, however with 186mm clearance for CPU coolers (mine is 159mm) that leaves only 2mm gap between my cooler and a side intake fan, is that enough?

the CMStorm Scout has a less appealing window, but the side fan mountings wont interfere with the CPU cooler as you can see, however there is not a single mount on that case for more than a 120mm fan, noise time?

the CMstorm looks a bit less tacky also, but im worried after i got it, id fancy a bit of bright+tacky! it's also £5~ more than the Xpred

Both are aesthetically pleasing, and have room for the hardware i want on the inside, so i have a feeling whichever i choose i'll always be thinking 'what if..'

so what are your opinions?

tough choice really.
The Xpred leaving 2mm gap between cooler and side intake is fine as long as the fan and the cooler don't touch. You can get slimmer intake fans so its not really an issue although a 200mm front intake will not bring in more airflow than say 2x120mm but it hardly makes a difference.

Personally out of the two despite the less appealing window I'd pick the CMStorm, considering in my build I use 6x 120mm's and 1x200mm fan its really not that loud at all (Use a fan controller!) I especially don't like the Xpred's window with the screws visible it looks well tacky.

There are other cases to consider but I guess you are dead set on one of those two?

I have the xpredator x3 avenger edition
Great case, loads of options inside can even put 2 x 120mm fans on the hdd bays
The built in fan controller is good as well, got 5 fans plus my leds running off it (1 is a coolermaster 200mm fan)
Here is mine
Tony Stark on a Budget - XPredator X3

not posted a lot on it - daughter as been poorly so she aint sleeping to well and at night is the only time i get to work on it, but now i have officially broken up till jan 2nd hopefully ill get my build finished

i love the look of the 540 corsair white, but it's considerably more expensive and also isn't in stock until feburary, and i think air cpu coolers look hideous in a window so large, so you're practically forced to get watercooling
