Man, when that song kicks in. Epic!

One of those songs that you turn up to 11 as soon as you hear the first few bars.
 

Maybe its my age but while i still love his early stuff, I was most disappointed that i didn't get to see one of his acoustic sets, He could hold a stage, one man with a guitar and one hell of a voice.
He did 45 mins or so during the audioslave gig i went to but i could have listened to that all night.

Badmotorfinger is probably THE album that defined my teenage years.

He's certainly a Top-20 rock vocalist for me, but certainly not one of the greatest vocalists to have ever lived, that's quite an accolade :p
 
Very sad news. I think this guy pulled off one of the best bond themes in 2006 with You Know My Name amongst all his other great achievements. Absolutely adore it even to this day.
 
I was very surprised when I read the news about him today, I didn't even realise he was 52! thought he was younger than that! Soundgarden certainly have a few great songs! Not so much an Audioslave fan though but Cornell will always be one of those big names in rock.
