Hiya,

Has anyone else bought his new album? If so, what are you opinions on it?

I've read about many people hating the whole Timbaland production thing but I've got to say it's an absolutely fantastic album :cool:

Effort on Cornell for having the balls to go in such a different direction from his old screaming like a mad 'un Soundgarden days

It's awful... Makes me ashamed to be a Soundgarden fan. It has absolutely nothing going for it besides the admittedly impressive Timberland production quality.

I think it's great, there are some painfully catchy choruses in some of the tunes. Not my favourite Cornell of all time, but definitely a great album in my opinion.

I hate it. I like Timberland's R&B work (both his album and working with other R&B stars) but I just don't think his production style works when combined with a rock star. I liked Chris Cornell's theme tune for Casino Royale and I was hoping his album would be filled with songs like that.

He was on Shockwaves album chart show few weeks ago thats on C4. He didn't sound too good then. Not sure if it was the venue (Koko i think) or not which made him sound carp.

It's a terrible song but it beats re-forming Soundgarden to cash in like everyone else seems to be doing.
