Chris Moyles

He still brings in 7 million listeners, it'd be a stupidly poor decision to sack him, many people still like listening to him, including myself.

Do they even have anyone who could replace him? Scott Mills would be a possibility, but if they're sacking Chris over his age then wouldn't Mills be getting the same treatment soon enough?

I think you have to respect that there are also millions that HATE him. We're all lisence payers, I personally don't think we should be paying for that fat oaf to be on the air. I think presenters that represent the BBC should have a brain

But would the millions that hate him suddenly tune in to the radio in the morning if he wasn't there? I honestly think ratings would drop rather than improve. The BBC has to get as many listeners/viewers as possible; you can't please EVERYONE.

The BBC's job is not to get viewing figures. It's to provide a quality product for those that fund it, quite simply he's a moron probably on a 6 figure salary, me for one things that is outrageous for a brainless, totally unfunny oaf - clearly others think so too.

If his mindless drivel has to continue let the private sector pay for it and not us

i certainty wouldnt want to wake up to a discussion on the finer points of astro-physics @ 6.30 in the morning. Moyles and the rest of the team make me laugh, every day. thats why i listen.

i didnt realize a radio presenter needs to have an I.Q of 170 to be entertaining

Yet lots think he is funny and a good listen, thus why he gets 7 million listeners... they think he is a quality product to those that pay the licence fee.

Surely you can see this?

(for reference I don't listen to the Radio in the mornings and as such have no opinion either way)

I can see that whilst 7 million like his "product" an equal amount probably hate him. I just don't think it's what we should be paying for, rather let the private sector pay for it if he's that popular.

It's stupid, funny easy listening on the way to work. I don't want seriousness and I like his off the cuff remarks, if you don't like him you don't have to listen.

More crap from The Sun.

And yet has an enormous amount of listeners.

If he bothers you that much, re-tune the radio.

Why people complain about things that are on TV and Radio I'll never know.

It's so easy to turn it off.

What you don't seem to understand - whether I turn it off or not I AM STILL PAYING THAT IDIOTS SALARY!

So he doesn't pay his own license then? plus why do you need a brain to present a radio show. I much prefer a light hearted wake up than a debate on crap I'm not interested in
