We can only wish for something like that but as Karl Marx once said "Religion is the opium of the people" and we have a lot of druggies on our hands.

To some, football is a religion, to others it's atheism. For all intents and purposes they are religions in all but name.

The actual problem is humans. We have a hard time not causing conflict over any differences in beliefs, wants or ideologies.

What would that solve? The greatest wars in modern history had nothing to do with religion. You'd be better off banning politics, which is actually the main driver of religious tensions anyway.
