Ah, terribly sorry, I just said the "C" word ^. Hope this hasn't offended anyone.

7 "Christmas Cards" from clients this morning: -

4 say "Seasons Greetings".
2 say "Winter Wishes".
1 mentions Christmas.

Sign of the times?

I wouldn't have a problem with 'Season's Greetings' as that's been common on cards for a while now - although I do prefer either Happy/Merry Christmas.

Never heard of 'Winter Wishes' before - can't say that I like it either. :(

but wishing a muslim a merry christmas is blatantly RACIST

so ofc you can't put anything about christmas on your christmas cards.

whoever did mention christmas deserves to be sacked!

strange, all my cards say Merry Christmas, and i know that one muslim that works here got same cards as well :) but he is a nice guy, i might even ask him what he thinks :D

Its just Britain catering to the whims of of the vocal minority again, incase they are offended.

I doubt if most normal Muslims would be bothered. Jesus is acknowledged as as one of the Muslim prophets, just not a very important one compared to Muhammed.

I made an effort to buy proper religious Christmas cards this year, purely as I feel the meaning is slowly being lost/diluted. Hopefully they won't offend anyone! ;)

why would you send a christmas card to a muslim or someone of another religion?

If they were a mate? Or maybe a work contact without an obviously Muslim sounding name?

There are a couple of Muslims in my daughters class at school, one played the 2nd of the '3 wise men' in the school play last week. His parents were there too and looked fine with it, they didn't appear to be looking outraged and sharpening machetes or anything. :)
