I drag out a pallet Christmas tree i made with stuff left over from the house being built a few years ago and put some lights around the eaves of my shed at the bottom of the garden on a timer for the evening, that's about it for me!

Warm led lights that go in a tree on a timer. Nothing else at all. And they stay up and on all year.

We did the same when we moved in last year, stuck some warm glow LEDs into the tree, and they looked nice so we decided to keep them in the tree and use them all year round.

I think the lights in tree can be nice, but when they're all year round it comes across as too lazy to take them down!

I think less is more, so will do the icicles on the gutter and I'm considering putting out a "real" Christmas Tree in the garden with lights. I need to pick some sort of ornament also...
