So what are you all expecting to be getting this year and what do you expect to be getting the significant other in your life.

I obviously will be leaving it last minute, just wanted to see how organized others are
 
To be honest there is very little that i want as i normally just buy the stuff i want. Maybe a bottle of single malt, a cheesy jumper and a cigar lol
 
I have a couple of days off in December and will do the shop then, but presents I have not got a clue, my sister has her birthday on the 14th just to make things awkward :D

I got myself a new Kindle!

Point? Normally have 2 days off Xmas week and pick up almost all of my stuff then, apart from stuff i have to absolutely make sure i have to have, or online orders. A bit of curiosity never hurt anyone now did it? And besides, maybe we could give someone a bit of inspiration for those hard to buy for.
 
I've bought 90% of my gifts already. Just waiting for 2 more for my girlfriend and I'm pretty much done aside from odd bits for friends and other family members.

Buying gifts for people is easy, just listen to what they mention about getting once or twice and forget about, and the list will soon be full.

The reason i get it done early is firstly: No Christmas shopping rush, if I go out now the shops around are fairly normal, so I can browse properly and get some stuff I know people will like, opposed to rushing around a few days before and grabbing whatever I can.
Secondly: The post towards December is shocking and I don't want to miss out on getting peoples presents due to snow and the mail being extremely slow.
Thirdly: Allows me to spend money on presents over time, instead of one lump sum.

People say I do it way too early, which I can see why they would, but I just find it much easier and convenient to do it end of OCT/beginning of NOV. I don't see what the problem is if you have the cash spare now.
 
Exactly lol. Bunch of scrooges lol, should have left it another 50 hours. If some are anything like the OH, she has only 1 payday between now and then so she has had to start buying things for family now, as it would be too hard to afford leaving it til Dec.
