Good evening all! Currently trying to find some good christmas markets that i can take my misses to between the 16th and 22nd of december.

We are based in Hertfordshire but willing to travel if its worth it.

So fellow festives, where do you go?

Thanks in advance!

Hohoho!

Might be worth a trip, what sets it out from the rest?
It's just a very pleasant town and the market is good - all sorts of knick-knacks and jewellery on sale. Plenty of stores selling yummy mince pies and mulled wine etc. Lots of pubs / places to eat etc. Also the church is in the middle of it so you can go in for a carol service. It's just... nice :)

Any idea where best place to park up would be (motorbike)
Not a clue sadly, although if you are still Bristol based the train is probably the best bet.

Birmingham German market is great - it's the only time in the year I actually go into Birmingham (only time worth going in tbh).

Theres very little worth coming to Birmingham for but the German market is great and apparently it's much bigger this year as well. Make sure you find the stall doing fresh garlic bread though, it's one of the best things Ive ever tasted.
