I wasn't aware such a thing existed, thanks I think that's one present sorted. Only issue is the minimum 12 month period, would need to calculate whether money would be saved taking into account the person I'd be buying for is out the country for two months of the year...
 
My 6 year old asked for a laptop... erm nope, that's not happening.

Selection of things that I have bought so far for my Kids or will be buying include:
Lava Lamp
Remote Controlled Spy Bot
Minecraft Download Voucher
Pop up Darth Vader (think Pop up Pirate but with light sabres)
Set of Sony Headphones
Cities: Skyline PC Game or Steam Voucher
Prison Architect PS4 game
Binoculars or Monocular
Football Boots and Football Training clothes


Personally for me I'm not really too bothered and only things I have mentioned to the wife are a Watch and a set of Wera Screwdrivers.

If she thinks you need to spend loads of money on her to win her love you need to walk away.

I bought my partner expensive gifts in the past but the one that got her the most was when I got some of her favourite photos printed out. Try something like that.
 
This year I'm buying my Partents a holiday and my Brother and Sister in Law a holiday


Through Groupon for a weekend away 1 lot to Paris and the others to Budapest

£240 all in + a lotto ticket for every other family members and christmas card

This sums Christmas up tbh.

People buying each other expensive crap they don't want or like tbh. Can't believe how people are willing to spend a full month or even 2 months wages on christmas.

People putting away 10% of their salary all year round for Christmas then being bitter all year around about how others spend their money.

I hear you, but my girlfriend basically told me she wanted it without actually saying it. Like seeing it in the wild or in Selfridges or something and going "ooohhh I love that bag!", "I wish I had this bag!!" ...you know, like how girls do when they want something.

And it was nuts, but I got a decent raise this time last year and I managed to sell a load of crap, so I was feeling a bit flush :p

(Plus I actually got her mum to buy it in Paris for roughly £100 less than it would have cost me here. £580 was 'cheap'.)

last Christmas i gave my other half a brick from the new extension she wanted building.
some women i guess are low maintenance,
keep it simple chaps.
like they say "its the thought that counts".
 
I've got my ideas for a few people down but others I'm stumped on.

For the Mother and Step Dad I'll be paying for a few day break for them, my Brother is home from Australia in Feb and he is bringing his wife who hasn't been to the UK before, they want to go up to Scotland so I'll be paying for Mum, I would pay for my brother but we don't get on at all.

For the other half I've got a few ideas, may get a photobook made up of us and places we have been together, a bit cheesy I know but hey I'm sure it'll score me some brownie points. I also make a list every year of things she says she wants/sees when we are out. It's quite the list this year so I've gotta plenty of ideas to go with. I specifically remember a pair of boots she fell in love with so may grab them for her.

As for the Dad, Step Mum and Lil Brother I'm clueless as it stands atm.
