Chrome + flash. constantly crashing.

Everything was ok last night now the flash plug-in crashes every time its accessed.

Anyone else getting this?

Hi,

It doesn't crash all the time but I have found it happening more often.

Googling does come up with a fix, but the file download never finishes.

Anyone had this and fixed it?

it's iffy on my mac, but don't use chrome on the pc i'm afraid..

It's gone from bad to worse today..

All i get now is the "aw snap" page whenever i try to load a website. Everything is working fine in firefox and IE. I have tried making a new user profile, deleting and installing a fresh version, swithched off all the plugins.. still no joy.

yeah.. tried that.. didn't make any difference..

maybe this is a good excuse for a format and fresh install :-)

No point in doing that for such a small thing.

Why not trying to roll back to the last setup that worked?

Try Iron Portable, does that crash also? If it does then Flash is the problem, if not then Chrome is the problem...

I get this with 4OD and Iplayer etc quite often.
seems to happen on a few systems I use tho :S

Flash has always been a pain for me.

Flash is integrated in Chrome so updating it separately won't help. Try updating Chrome, clearing your browsing history and resetting the browser to defaults or installing the beta version instead.

I found the beta to be less stable with flash
