Chrome Issue

i've been running Chrome as my main browser for pretty much the entire time i've had my pac, coming up to a year now. however the other day it decided that it would become slow and un responsive, taking a long time to load... anyting real;y.

now however, it decided to crash [google Chrome has crashed would you like to restart....] the everytime i open it, then when it does restart, it becomes the slowest thing known to man.

i've unistalled and reinstalled in an attempt to slove the issues but with no joy.

any help would be apreciated.

p.s sorry for any spelling mistakes IE doesn't highlight them =[

disable any add-ins and try again.

still no joy. the only way i seem to be able to get it to work is if it will somehow realise that it has crashed and restart itself, but it rarely does this.....

and i though google chrome never crashes!

Try reinstalling it. Or maybe you have a virus?

Have you tried removing the left over folder in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google When you have uninstalled Chrome?

I remember having problems running Symantec AV while using Chrome.. Its going to be something weird like that.

hmm i dont like the sound of this?? im runing avg free... would this be sufficiant to pick it up?

AVG is known to be pretty poo to be honest, If you want a free AV then MSE or Avast are the way to go.

Have you tried my suggestion?

Ive had the same issue with Chrome the last week or so. Its very wierd. As if it decides to have a breather then suddenly jumps back into life

when i uninstalled i couldn't find the folder... looked in a few locations couldn't find them....

You may need to enable "show hidden folders"

What version of Windows are you using?
