every time i go on a website that uses shockwave or flash in any way it comes up with the message in that orange box at the top "An additional plugin is required to display some elements on this page" with the shockwave puzzle piece on the left side of the bar.
looking at the "problem downloading" link on the right its trying to install shockwave for firefox, which really isnt going to help things much.
i've tried the usual clearing cache and whatever to no avail. think i might fire up the old AV just to be sure, but if anyone has any dea whats cousing this i'd be most grateful

malwarebytes has found something. hopefully this sorts it out
