Chrome size

I was just looking through my local profiles on my computer (Windows 7) and noticed my profile is 2.6gb. I only reinstalled my computer about 6 weeks ago, further inspection reveals 99% of it is in my app data folder, of which 1.85gb is Chrome :eek:

Is it supposed to be that big after just 6 weeks, I was looking at culling the profile and starting fresh ?

why not just delete the data?

It's Chrome's cache that's taking up the space. You can clear it simply from the Options menu.
