Scratching my head with this one. New PC. Clean Windows install. Edge works fine, but Chrome won't load a single page. I've uninstalled Chrome, deleted the Chrome folders under Program Files and run CCleaner, then reinstalled Chrome. Same problem. I get the following message when trying to visit any web site:

"Your connection was interrupted

A network change was detected.

ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED"

Any ideas?

Done both.

Also found another suggestion; scan for malware. Seemed utterly pointless given it's a completely clean system. But I'll try anything given Chrome has all my passwords... No malware present.

Decided to test a bunch of browsers.

Working:

Brave
Vivaldi
TOR
Firefox
Edge

Not working:

Chrome
Chrome Canary
Chromium
Opera
Comodo Dragon

Opera actually does have some functionality. It will load the BBC home page as plain text after a couple of minutes. Tried a few other sites, and after a couple of minutes I get the same "ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED" message.

So basically, nothing based on Chromium works, except Vivaldi.

Try the below 2 commands (separately) in cmd as admin, it resets IP/TCP.

netsh int ip set dns
netsh winsock reset

If that fails, try uninstall your NIC and reinstall? And/or check for any network adapter updates online?

What network adapter is it on the PC? Maybe it's using some sort of QoS feature which for some reason is affecting Chromium based browsers?
