Chromecast HELP

Basically i bought a chromecast usb today in the hope i could play movies and tv shows off the iphone app called "movie box". i was hoping you could mirror the screen like the apple tv box. Can anyone help?

Unless it has changed in the last couple of months, I didn't think Chromecast is designed to mirrior iOS devices. That's why Apple TV exists.

Chromecast is the Android equivalent of Apple TV, but mirroring is supported by only a limited range of devices at this time. But AFAIK, they're all Android only, not iOS.
