Netflix has been updated to auto play the next episode on Chromecast now. A feature I truly missed when I was using the PS3.

Netflix has worked with the Chromecast for as long as the Chromecast has been around. the auto-play is a few feature though.

I use Google Play Movies too. Shame though that its cheaper to buy a Bluray on majority of films

Not a Mac user but I thought it would work on any platform that supports Chrome extensions?

In fact it mentions Mac on here.
If your talking about iDevices well then no, I can't see it happening.
Android can cast its screen so I guess there is no reason to cast a tab.

I use Plex myself. Maybe try BubbleUPnP which supports DLNA

I run Plex in a VM on my microserver. Its used to send media to all three of my Chromecasts

You can't stream prime. I guess Amazon have no plans to since they have their own fire stick.
