Chubby Ronaldo is back

I reckon he will be there because of his name and the fact that hes back to scoring goals...as i said in another thread about him...cant see him being nothing more than a substitute if anything...i dont think he has the stamina to go the whole game.

Glad to see him back scoring goals...one of my fave Brazilian players of all time next to Ronaldinho, Pele and a few others.

Not a bad sub to have. Maybe he could fulfill a Henrik Larsson role and come on to add experience and threat.

Thats what i would imagine Brazil would do if they pick him...i really hope they do as it would be great...would be even better if they won the WC with him being in the side...great way to retire from the game unlike Zidane in the last WC :p.

I thought headbutting someone in the chest was a rather original way to go :p

Both great finishes. When he plays well it's a joy to watch.

There's something really irritating about him though, I can't put my finger on what.

LOL short of stabbing the guy then yeh its definitely an original way to go...but i guess Zidane thought **** it i aint got mothing to lose...we aint gonna win so ill just get myself sent off:p

hes got the touch. hes even not that slow. but he needs to shed the pounds. if he did i see no reason why he wouldn't be in a top team. his eye for the goal is still there.

hasn't he always had a little weight though, he's scored plenty of goals where he simply ran at defenders and they almost bounce off him.

Fantastic player, for me WAY ahead of Ronaldinho because the only downfall to Ronaldo has been horrific injuries that MOST players wouldn't have come back from, Ronaldinho has thrown it all away because he likes to party and get drunk, be a playboy and a lazy moron.

His scoring record is scary, really the only other two strikers who come close are Eto'o and Vieri has had some truly fantastic seasons. Its very rare a striker scores more goals than appearances made in any top league(ignoring someone playing one game and getting a hattrick or something).

Good luck to him, would be truly great to see him at another world cup. Would be interesting to see how he's used and if he still has it up against the worlds best players.
