Annoy me greatly.

You know the situation. You ask a harmless question like:

"What is the best X for Y?"

And someone replies with "What do you need to do Y for? I hope you're not doing something I personally disapprove of. Now I'm going to outline all the reasons I think think you shouldn't be doing Y, and relate some experience of the last time I interfered in someone else's business."

Instead of just answering the damn question.

Just had a thread derailed on another forum by a couple guys who insist it's wrong and immoral for me to cut a path through brambles on an old disused tramway. Because bunny rabbits might live there. And little baby birds. And then talk about reporting me to the Police.

Grr, busybodies. Grinds my gears. And in this case, made me start a ****y thread :p

TL;DR - live and let live if it isn't hurting anyone. Baby rabbits don't count, there's tons of the little buggers.

P.S. sorry for starting another ****y thread (I'm not sorry).

Funnily enough, in another thread, weren't you saying it's immoral for people to purchase as much property as they can afford with the intention of renting it out?

It just occurred to me you might have meant that the TL;DR was itself TL and you therefore DR. In which case, I apologise.

I never asked you to care. It was an example of the phenomena under discussion. I could have used an example from your life, but then you'd know that I've been stalking you.

Can you comprehend the meaning of hypocrite? You're moaning about people telling you what you should and shouldn't do, but you're happy to do the same.

As for the "not hurting anybody" part, well where exactly do you draw the line with that? Don't go to job interviews in case there's someone there that needs the job significantly more than you so that they don't fall in to poverty? Because, you know, if you get that job due to going to the interview, well you're hurting that guy, aren't you?

Dat perspective and hypocrisy though.
