** CHUG'S DAY OF PAY DEALS - EPIC DEALINGS - MARCH MADNESS UPDATE! **

Please do mate, I've been trying to find 'feet' rather than 'wheels' for my Monza chair. Think I found some on rain forest but cant tell if they will fit. Is there a standard size for wheels/glides? Anyway, would be great if you could source compatible options for us.
Cheers,

Last year, when I was at Salisbury Hospital's specialist physio ward for five weeks, one of the things that the commercially run woodwork centre made/sold were casters immobilisers.

These immobilisers had raised edges and so prevent things on wheels from wheeling away. ;)

Now I don't know their technical name, but all I'm saying is, there is technology out there to help prevent you moving backwards on the chair while braking.

Firstly, sorry to hear about the protracted hospital visit dude. Yes, have seen them, without wanting to sound pedantic, my chair sits flush under the desk when not in use, then gets pulled out to sit in and returns to a 'middle ground' position once seated. I think the 'cups' that the wheels sit in would become a pita very quickly having to move 5 of them between various positions...

The 'glides' (iirc) on rain forest actually replace the wheels, meaning you can still move the chair around but weight/friction means you don't scoot around the room with the slightest movement. Plastic pack is only £6.50 so i'll take a punt and let you know.
Cheers,
