Cider or Beer?

Beer, absolutely hate cider :( cider is known to be a womans drink round here, we get **** on beer then you have all young ladies getting **** off cider

Cider.....Weston's Vintage, 8% of mind blowing goodness, £1.40 a pint from Sainsbury's.
Also, Stowford Press on tap at my local is great.

At home I NEVER drink beer/lager.

Mainly cider/wine, occasionally champers/vodka/gin.

Cider is still my drink of choice, it's what I grew up on and over the last year I've been sampling many different bottled ciders sold by Sainsburys. Since shacking up with my lady friend I have also broadened my horizons a bit on the wine front, current fave is Hardys sparkling rose. Again, tend to pick up whatevers on offer in the supermarkets to try new things.

Beer/lager is something I only ever drink at pubs/parties. I've found that I get much worse hangovers than I used to, so I can't keep knocking back the cider and mixing drinks so much. If I'm having more than a couple I no longer touch Strongbow, following comments from people about all the chemicals. So I tend to go for beer a bit more these days.

Another problem with cider is that because I like it so much and am used to the taste, I tend to drink it too quickly. I hate being in a pub with an empty glass in front of me, I tend to drink beer slower.

i like both although at the moment i have been drinking a lot of cider.

Tesco strong dry cider £2.50-70 for 3 litres :)
