i really do think dual core would be wasted on me. ok so i game a little - infact i'm getting an agp x1950pro to extend my system's life even further - but as for windows, all i do is surf the the web and listen to music. i don't multi task at all. and i keep the crap to a minimum. i don't run realtime av/firewall/anti-spyware stuff. infact the only thing in my systray apart from the volume control is utorrent. :D

i've never used a dualcore/ht setup so maybe i could be surprised at how snappy windows is - but i really am content with what i have now. :)

No idea on time, CPU benchmark is shown though which is usually the measure used :)
