cinema prices!

To be honest I only go to the cinema on orange Wednesdays or if I've got free tickets. So I don't find the cinema that expensive. Always buy food and drink from tesco as well. Cinemas must hate customers like me.

You'd have thought that the popularity of things like orange wednesdays would make them think that they're too expensive the rest of the time

Well from an employee point of view I only hate the customers who take in all their food but leave all the crap behind them whether that bit wrappers, bits of chips or that half bottle of vodka they spilt all over the place. Far as I'm concerned they haven't contributed to my wages so it annoys me to have to clean up after their mess.

The owners of the cinema would hate you though :p

I certainly wouldn't pay those prices. I maybe get to the cinema once a month or so and the prices here are £5.50 regardless whether it's 3D or not.

I have a Cineworld Unlimited Card for £13.50 a month but for 3D films they want a extra £1.50 if you have your glasses and £2.30 if you don't (bloody con if theres no 2D alternative!) . The unlimited card was £11.99 when it first got it and 3D films were included

£13.50!! They were £9.99 at one stage and its not as if you can pick and choose when you want 2 pay that a month. Its a 12 month contract.

Ah my bad I didn't know that Odeons had Imax screens I always thought they were independant as the one's ive seen have been. Imax on orange wed would be ridiculous bargain!

Went on yesterday to watch Avatar at Cardiff IMAX, and didn't have any problems with it.

Cost £11.xx for two of us. :D IMAX is awesome! Shame about the film.
