Does anyone have a circle jig for their router? I'm going to have to DIY a fairly large one and just after some inspiration (or borrowing if any nearby!).

I've made them in the past by screwing the router onto a strip of ply. Cut the shape of the router's opening onto the end of the ply so you can see through it. Then drill a hole at the other end of the ply, with the right distance to create an appropriate hole. Some adjustability would be good via multiple holes or slotted openings etc. I'll see if i can dig the jig out.

How big a circle do you need to cut, and in how thick a material?

I have a Jasper 200 & 400, but many routers seem to come with some kind of circle making attachment these days, even though it isn't always easy to spot at first glance. The straight edge fence of my Triton TRA001 and cheapy Erbauer can both be used to make circles. Might be worth having a look at your fence if you have one.
