Does anyone know if a list exists of IOS current/previous releases and descriptions of there functions?

IOS is currently on 12.4T for routers and 12.3 for switches, depends on what platform you want IOS for,

I have one Cisco 4000 series and one 4500 router at the moment both with IOS 12.1(9).

Im not having too much trouble with the IOS command set but the telling the difference between different IOS versions and what functionaltiy they provide is a nightmare.
