I wouldn't worry too much, at the top end of live events theres a huge amount of networking involved!

We've worked with the people who provide comms for glastonbury etc, it's interesting stuff.

A month? That's a bit optimistic for a novice. 4-6 months if you buckle down and work at it.

A month would be fine if you had done networking before and were just converting to use Cisco as a brand. But the underlying concepts will take a while to bed in and practice. I've seen people take longer than that just to get the hang of deriving subnets.

i usually pick up stuff to do with this fairly quickly and dont tend to forget it easily

(wish i could say the same for all my gcse subjects

)
