Cities in Motion - Possible Traffic Giant and Transport Tycoon type game- Out Q1 2011!

Anyone figured out how to make a profit yet. The beta just seems insanely difficult. Hope they retune it before release or do someting cause no matter what i do, no sustained profits. Have pre ordered and looking forward to the release.

Have a look further up, in the Beta at least Metro between 2 popular areas, station/airport station/station or station/leisure seemed the most popular, pump the prices up and I was in good profit quickly.
Then you just expand the metro line.

make a metro between 2 train stations and put the price up really high like £7-8 :D

Thanks for the tip. However i hope the finished product is a bit more rounded, as if you start adding bus / tram lines all they will do is loose money no matter what you try. So unless you leave your 'transport empire' consisting of a metro line between train terminals, your loosing money!

You can also put a bus stop in the city centre (outside the cathedral) and 1 stop at each of the 3 train station and make 3 lines going to that 1 stop in the centre from each station. Bump the price up to £6-7 and 1 bus on each route .... MONEY !

Add in a bus stop from the airport to the centre and you're laughing.

Edit: Remember to run your staff on the lowest possible amount before the sad face. Lower the maintenance from 50% to 25% or lower for a little while until you can afford to put it back up.

Just so everyone is aware there is more DLC in june and an expansion (Tokyo, adds monorail) due in a little over a week, so there may well be a better 'complete pack' offer down the line compared to today.
