So Civ V Complete edition is very cheap at the moment, am I missing out on anything major not going for VI?

Will likely be playing this on a laptop with Vega 8 GPU as well as main rig, is VI going to be more demanding?

IMO, both are great games, though many prefer V , I've got several hundred hours on each game (the missus has over 1,500 hours in EACH), so I've definitely got my moneys worth from both titles.

If you get 5, never trust ghandi. "oh this city I planted right next to yours? My mistake, it won't happen again" *herds of war elephants gather around your city * "we are best friends"

Personally I'd say Civ 6 despite preferring the classic style and layout of Civ 5.
Both games are good, but Civ 6 is probably the most balanced in my experience.

In Civ 5 the end game suffers IMO. I dislike how they implemented the United Nations mandatory voting thing, especially when you're the leader and your Proposed options begin to run out and you have to start proposing things that you don't want because the game forces you too. It's so frustrating, even preventing you from leaving the UN altogether. Honestly that whole update annoyed me so much I would stop playing at endgame. Also in Civ 5 the AI tends to be random and all over the place. Example; someone declares war on me, I stop the invading force and take one of their cities they founded nearby (miles away from their capital.) Afterwards everyone hates me and thinks I'm a warmonger for the rest of the game.

Performance wise I play both on a 2500k and 7970 3GB 16GB with no problems at 1080p.

VI is useless for single player the AI is broken and flawed. Unless I missed a recent patch that fixed it. Last time I played the AI may as well have been turned off which made the game pointless to play. VI is still worth while for multiplayer if you can get enough people just don't expect AI in multiplayer games to do anything.

I highly recommend "Civ 5 Complete Edition" - Lost many hours to it :p

Although I have Civ 6 from a Humble Bundle, I've not really given it much time at all - Not really fair, but I like what I like and what I like is Civ 5 :p :D
