Clapper!?!

I had an idea, (and yes it hurt) i want to be able to turn on my computer using a clapper. I think it would be sweet!

i found these clappers that basically plug into a wall socket and turn the power on and off at the sound of a clap. Is there anyway of making this work for a PC??

Erm yes you could, just make it complete the circuit you usually would have completed by the switch.

Possible, not sure you would want to, you have to be at the PC to use it so I do not really see any function to it.

there is the down side of every time there is a loud sharp sound your computer will switch itself off :eek:

wouldn't want that, you'd have to use earphones for playing games.
