Any chance of some i3 overclocking and testing in the OcUK labs? Launch reviews have all been on the 661 overclocking it seems.

Not yet. Motherboards are fairly thin on the ground at the moment.

What a shame. One of the most exciting things about Clarkdale/H57 is the ability to bitstream HD audio. Not to mention the low power consumption and integrated GPU, which makes this combo the perfect choice for a HTPC.

How long before we start to see the smaller form factor mobo's out of interest?

Sorry to be a n00b but I dont see the advantage of a Corei3/H55 system over a AMD/760G system... AMD works out much cheaper. The only advantage I can see is the i3 is 32nm?

I would think the best point of the i3 is the overclocks it can get. Within a few days there will be links to hardware websites with overclocking reviews with a proper hsf. At the moment people seem to be getting over 4ghz in the crappy intel hsf.

I see, so its mainly for the overclocking potential... Also am I right in thinking that to use the onboard display adapters on the H55/57 boards you would need a i3/i5 as they have the GPUs built in

I'll probably be watercooling an i3 530 installed in the new DFI MI P55-T36 early next week.
Would rather have the new Intel H57 Mini-ITX mobo, but there is no ETA anywhere on those as of yet?
