Clarkson's Farm

Not just you or me then. Think he needs to calm down. Yes it'd be good for him to buy a farm of his own but it being a wally and going on tours going to make him the money he needs for a purchase?
Almost certainly... Have you seen the amount of money some random tit from love island or whatever the latest reality sewage is can make from literally just turning up to places.

Kaleb quite obviously is still a grafter 90% of the time so why not use this as a way to bank some extra cash to plough back into his actual passion.

No idea how much some people can make just being famous but I guess it's worth it.

I wonder how much he makes from his tour after all the expenses. Better be enough to make it worth it.

Harriet was a pleasant surprise and dropped right in and felt like she'd been there since the start with how well she was on camera.

That's 2 other farmers that have been on those fields and both times Kaleb doesn't come across very well.

Who was the other one? Andy Cato?

I thought she was doing superbly well but as soon as Kaleb was back he brought a bad vibe in my opinion. I think fame has gone to his head

Watched the first 4 eps before reading this thread but even before coming in I knew poeople would be mad at Kaleb!

I don't think he did anything untoward apart from the introduction to Harriet (who was great and as she was easy on the eyes makes me think this fuels some of the resentment towards Kaleb) was obviously somewhat scripted. There is no way Kaleb didn't know they were hiring someone whilst he was gone - surprised people think this was all genuine, thought people were a bit smarter regarding reality TV shows around here!

Also as far as I know his tour was promoting farming to young people with the odd stage performance?

Still got a great line in regards to '**** flu' from the setup :D

Good start to the series although really wish we could go back to the drop all at once days, but understand the streaming services need to prolong to retain memberships for longer.

It looked like that area was accessed via the main site entrance so for starters only open the gate in daylight hours/opening times, I mean who goes for a picnic in the dark.
Add some motion sensors/light sensors and some floodlighting.

Allow free use as a paintball area after dark ;)

I thought she was great, Kaleb has lost that little something.

Side note, the bit about the Irish and their weekly shop and pint is funny. I had no idea!

Just got to the episode with Kaleb coming back, can't believe people actually think he's being a ****

That was just the standard "get orf my land!" Script they've used all along with him.

Yeah it was all just scripted for TV. They obviously got on well. You could see it in the end.

You gotta remember this guys a farm hand, who has been handed fame and fortune, he's gonna go off the rails to some extent..

Exactly...Clarkson even recognises this and calls him out on it with the **** Flu scene which was brilliant.

Its just entertainment, worth a watch and a laugh..
I do have to look beyond the obvious contrived bits.. but have enjoyed the 4 episodes (always watch these on the home cinema, it suits the 'big screen' well!)..

Not living that far from the area, it's interesting to see how the pub saga unfurled as tourism is a real hot potato at the moment and with all the 'money' moving from London there is a real move to extinguish the very thing that made the villages popular in the first place so no surprise to see JC hit those head on..

It is very much a laugh, like nobody in their right mind would arrange 8 tractors to arrive on the same day for a demo. That's just done for TV and it did make it a fun scene to watch.

It's pretty much more of the same..... and that's a good thing :)
Looking forward to the next 4 episodes.
Was expecting that the next 4 episodes would be released tomorrow but it seems we're only getting the next 2 tomorrow and the last 2 a week tomorrow!!

You are familiar with Jeremy Clarkson right? :D You have seen some of the shenanigans he got up to in his 13 year run on Top Gear? The same guy who only booked one lorry for the hay was it he needed to get off the farm? I mean fair enough, Kaleb didn't tell him how many lorries he needed but JC is a walking disaster zone!! :D

Clarkson and "right mind", I would argue haven't ever been associated with each other. :p

Yeah, like the whole 'testing 8 sensible tractors and then buying another Lambo...'

I was actually annoyed it worked as honestly, I'm still convinced the issue was lack of traction, not lack of power. I don't think the extra power was the reason his new tractor was successful with the plowing. If you look at the tyres from the failed attempt, they were caked and basically like slicks. The second attempt, he had actual tread to use.

Were the little clips of Caleb's tour the actual thing? Or a joke of it?

If it's the former, what a load of crap that looked like? What on earth was he touring for?

Enjoyed the watch again, again highlights the difficulties of farming. And based on the weather this Spring, I had totally forgotten about the deluge last winter.
