Class Diagram Software

Hi There,

I'm studying Computer Science at uni and we have gotten onto the loverly world of class diagrams. We're learning java and suppose to be using Eclipse, but i'm having troubles getting it running properly. Is there any alternatives I could use for drawing class diagrams?

I've seen that sun have the Java Studio Enterprise. Is there a free version of this or something similar to this which is a bit easier to get up and running?

Visual Paradigm for Windows, Omnigraffle pro for Mac OSX, Rational Rose for Linux

All good UML modellers, which i have used in my degree course.

Microsoft Visio
Netbeans (can add the modelling module from package manager)
Umbrello is quite good but Linux only.
