Classic Bikers

I know it was originally a shed creation using the Featherbed frame, but the Triton is still being made somewhere. I watched a program on it.

Unityequipe still make the featherbed frame, after that just get a bonny engine. Seen loads of people at the ace with featherbed frames and all sorts of engines.

Ah, I love custom bikes :)

'52 thunderbird? Very nice :)

Brando had a '50 t'bird in The Wild One and it looked the business ;)

Oh yes! I keep looking at the pictures to inspire me. I really need to get myself into gear with it and make some progress. When I say 1952 that's the year I believe its from, however I was given several Documents with the Bike (That used to be my Grandpa's). One of the Documents (I believe Insurance) quotes it as a 1949 Thunderbird, however one other document mentions it as a 52. Things seemed to be a bit looser back in those days compared to now! Imagine those discrepancies on the V5 document!

Good luck with the build, have you any pics of your project?

I will put some together, its not very pretty at the moment as its really just a pile of bits. But i shall get something together and once i step this up a gear i will do my best to put a sort of log together.

Was going to bid for a t'bird project at a Bonhams auction but it went for something like 1600 quid! It was in a bit of a state too!
