You need to start looking at the more specialist companies, as you'll probably want an agreed valuation anyway.

go with a company like Footman james or carole nash, companies like direct like and such have no respect for these types of cars. Make sure you get a agreed valuation and go a bit over what you would value it at as the prices of classics are shooting up

Footman james wont have me because im under 25 and i havnt been driving 5 years.

the point still stnads tho, it's worth paying a little more to insure with a company who specialise in clasics.

im 25 have two major accidents on my insurance and no no claims, yet my spit is 160 quid a year fully comp with breakdown cover.

Bad news, basically i live in london and go back at weekends every now and then to see family etc.

So would never leave the car in london as it would get stolen.

My dad wont let me have it in his garage as he needs the space so my grandad as he has 3 cars is forced to get rid of it so he is putting it up for sale soon.

Im devasted as i just cant afford to rent a garage out to keep it in.

How much do you reckon he should be looking for?
