All I've ever had to do was install MPC-BE, DX9 and graphics drivers and DXVA has worked flawlessly. For AMD and Nvidia

Thanks for that! Would never have realised as I always use full mode. From now on I'll always be using minimal mode!

Also worth mentioning is that CTRL+0 will cycle the modules
