I watched this a good few months back at Cineworld. Still amazing and ahead of its time particularly on the big screen. Loved every minute of it.

Just back from watching Saving Private Ryan 25th Anniversary from the cinema and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the few classics I missed on the big screen when it was released. I have watched it quite a few times at home in the past but nothing beats the big screen imo. Always amazes me you notice detail or sequences you missed or haven't noticed before. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately due a minor case of death (or as women call it "man-Flu") I don't feel like being Patient Zero is an up-coming Viral Outbreak film so I'll have to pass on this now
That's me just out of the showing and it was just as good as I remember. Quite a few scenes just doesn't have the same impact at home. They definitely don't make movies like that any longer.
Unfortunately few peeps wasn't as considerate as you. It didn't stop quite a few members of the audience coughing and spluttering all over the place. Especially the bloke behind me. Didn't cover his mouth or anything. Felt it back of my head. Anyway small price to pay for watching a great movie.

Paramount announced at CinemaCon this week that Interstellar will be re-released on September 27, 2024 in IMAX 70mm and digital, according to Variety. Christopher Nolan's sci-fi odyssey was first released in fall 2014.

My local Odeon only tends to show crap like that Star Wars abomination and not awesome films like Commando. Only plus is I got to see Commando at the cinema when it first came out. Arnie was awesome in the 80's.
Looks like the Lord of the Rings extended cut trilogy is going to be shown in June over a weekend and monday. Ok Booking days off haha

My Son and I went to see this tonight with my 2 free Vue tickets from Sky VIP for being a Sky Movies subscriber. Strangely not as terrible as I remember, but definitely shows that George Lucas cannot write dialogue! 22 year old Son never saw it on the big screen so he thought it excellent. The CGI is showing it's age and can be a bit 'suspends belief' but if you remember it's 25 years old it's not so bad.
