done an ok job, but wondering if you can get any type of gloves that will go on the end of the connector cables, as i have a few with wires showing, the graphics ones are black taped at the moment, but it looks crap close up

can you get anything or anyone recommend any options?

Heatshrink, get some large enough to go over the connectors, and make sure it shrinks well - 4:1 ratio or something should do lovely :)

You can use either a hairdryer (hold it quite close) or a lighter/candle, but keep it a little further away and keep it moving so as not to melt/burn the rubber :)

We used to heatshrink connectors where I used to work. It doesn't look brilliant and the bit that goes over the wires does get quite thick, although you can set it into a pre bent shape.

Braided extensions look much nicer Jim.

+1 for braided extensions. Changed my second rig from this.

To this.

And thats a case with very poor cable tidying options compared to the corsair. The cables used were from the Bitfenix range, much more flexible than Akasa or NZXT ones ive tried.

Nor have I. A missed opportunity perhaps for Bitfenix. I considered making my own extension for my front panel and USB connectors and even found somewhere to buy tge connectors and things from.

You can braid yourself. If you're only buying small quantities of braid from the UK, it might be worth looking at the PulseModding braid, which can be bought within the UK (so if you just wanted to do the front panel headers for example), however if you wanted to do the whole lot yourself rather than buy extensions, I'd cough up for the extra delivery, and get MDPC stuff, as I feel it's better quality.

if you see my first picture you will notice the sticker on the psu, i started peeling it away. I now regret that, its taken me 30mins to peel with my nail about 40% - ffs!

Top or the side one? I considered peeling mine off, think I've just changed my mind xD

yeah top one, i don't mind the side one, i have most of it now, gonna pick up some alcohol based spray at lunch and scrub the rest tonight with a soft cloth, you know when you start something that did not need doing and then it turns into a pig.... you just wish you had not bothered!

Get hold of some Akasa Tim Cleaner (or other lemon based cleaner) and rub some onto the residue left behind from the sticker. Leave it for a couple of minutes to soak in and you should find it will wipe right off. Lemon based products are great for removing adhesive residues.

Everytime I see a case with those rubber hole covers I kick myself, that and a non-modular PSU.

Would love to see a fan controller with temp sensors get cable managed lol

Oh well live and learn,

PC looks very nice though

yeah they are good, i like the case, but not a lot of room behind the other panel. i will update some pic's when i get the last bits done

Bitfenix do produce pre braided usb extensions as well, though ocuk doesnt stock them as yet. They also produce front panel connectors as well, though the selection is limited. The eclipse based rig ive posted above uses pre braided front panel connectors as well, only available in black though. Got a full set from somewhere else, cant remember if theyre nzxt or akasa. Will need to check my recent purchases.

Apologies for the poor pic quality.
