Cleaning a keyboard?

I used a toothbrush and soapy water. Scrubbed everywhere and got it all sparkly, rinsed it, then took it apart and found all the crud below the keys so scrubbed again:) left it above a radiator for an evening and it dried out. It's now back together and as good as new.

I just got all of the keys out of my G11, cleaned the surface under the keys with aftershave and cotton swabs ( they were black from all the **** under my keys every time), especially the visible stains...

And I simply put all the keys in the sink added a bit of soap and water, moved them around a bit, let them in there for 30 mins, then dried them, and put them all back in my kb...

You can get this strange anti-bacterial goopy stuff called 'Cyber Clean' that works very well. You can press it in between the keys and it lifts off all sorts of crap you never even realised was there.

I had that and it just stuck to the keyboard ... was a load of carp :o

My G15 has been through hell in the past. It has had Irn-bru spilled on it, beer spilled on it and god knows how many crumbs. Safe to say a can of compressed air didn’t do the job :p so I had to take every key out and clean each one individually. Now I only wipe down the keys once a week and even then it’s not even that bad.
