Just use a drop of alcohol, like the stuff you get to clean CD drives. Used with a lint free cloth, you'll be fine.

Spit on it and wipe it on your trousers.

That system can be used for many other things too.

slap a tongue round the disk, and then rub of excess saliva, man juice, what ever is on the dvd with a soft cotton shirt, works every time, and is a cheap alternative to wasting money on 'the ultimate super DVD cleaner- makes DVD's cleaner than jade goodys act'

LOL does anyone else remember the BBCs introduction to the new CD technology where they spread jam on a disc and reckoned it would still play.

Wipe on jeans, use a small amount of saliva as necessary.

Warm water, mild soap, cotton towel. Wipe radially. Don't use tissues - they will scratch the surface.
