Cleaning GPU question

Just pulled apart my gpu for a thorough clean as it was full of dust. Just wondering if I should re paste, or leave it with the old one. I dont have any on me, if I did I would have just put some new on.

Also there are a few sticky pads, 1 or 2 have been ripped off, does this matter?

if its not dusty then i doubt you will have problems so long as you screw it back securely. However, you may be better off to re paste and buy the sticky pads again

You must clean and re-paste GPU you might get away with putting the sticky pads back
on mem/chokes etc but do not risk it with GPU, whats a rice grain of paste worth compared to your card cost? ;)

Re-paste better to have everything fresh and new after cleaning, you don't want to have to pull it apart again because temps have increased.

When you clean your case and remove HSF/cpu block you always replace the TIM so why not with GPU??
