Due to laziness my keyboard needs a bit of a clean! Is it worth buying those cleaning wipes to do it or just buy some rubbing alcohol and use that with a cloth? I've got plenty of compressed air to blow away the bits in the keyboard.

When I cleaned mine ethanol was taking the colour off the keys, baby wipes worked pretty well. Mine was so crusty I had to take all the keys off and clean them individually.

Get that yellow playdough looking thing they sell on JML, everytime you used to walk into a woolworths there would be a little stand with a tv showing it.
Use on phones, keyboards, children.

Then just wash and reuse.

I've only seen this in Korea, but all semi decent brand keyboards come with a free (included in the box) moulded silicone cover) this £10 equivalent Logitech I'm using now has one, makes typing pretty smooth and quiet which is a bonus too!

Hold it upside down and use a clean (shoe type) brush to get rid of the loose stuff.

If you've been watching too much porn and have sticky keys you could try the advice given above!

No sticky keys, I'm getting older so my range has diminished :D
