I assume, that when buying a rad, that they still need cleaning as soon as you get them? I'm getting a black ice sr-1. The first thing I do is I'll flush the rad out, with boiling water. I've read that modern rads don't really need to be flushed with vinegar anymore?
In which case, I'll do the following:
Fill the rad full with boiling water.
Empty half of it out.
Shake for a few mins.
Empty the rest out, checking the state of the water.
Repeat until water is clean looking, and do a final flush with distilled water.
I don't need to clean out the other components right? As that'll be done when I prime the loop?
Thanks
