As per title, looking for ideas as I don't want to bother with a ladder.

Depends on your budget, I use Unger window poles / cleaning products rather than getting the ladder out. May be expensive but it has paid for itself ten fold over the years. They have got a multi brush / sponge for cleaning facia around the frame.

We had a local window cleaner who did them - he had a van with distilled water in and long rods - The first time he did windows I thought he had forgot to dry them but they dried off spotless.

Got bungalow now and it's great - just give wife the steps - press clean mode button and away she goes.

Took nearly 30 yrs but you can train old dogs to do new tricks. - The leather belt and nipple clamps help.
