cleaning your lcd tv

I would use a damp cloth to wipe down the LCD, something preferably soft and supple as to not damage the screen. Otherwise just buy some special lcd cleaner that you can find in various hi-fi/TV shops if they have any that is.

I use the same stuff to clean my LCD TV's as I do my PC TFT's - 'Klear Screen.' It comes in a small bottle with a spray on the top. Does the job very nicely.

Surely T-Cut or Nitromors would do a better job at removing any stubborn marks?

Completely stupid advice in this post by members who really should know better, what if he had used one of those products and damaged his screen? for all you know the OP could be a 14 year old nieve kid.

I use some screen wipes that i got from aldi for £2, they are ok but leave a slight residue which i polish off using a spectacles cloth from specsavers :)

You'd have to be downright stupid to think that t-cut or a power sander were serious suggestions. Quite frankly if you're that stupid, then that's your lookout.

Even tho, although the posts are funny for the people who understand them a simple "dont really do this" at the end of the thread would be a good idea:)

Not meaning to be an arse but i could see someone doing this to their screen, not the sander obviously :p

Then like I said, that's their lookout.

Anyway, I suggested a way of cleaning an LCD TV in my first post in this thread.

Unless its got something gloopy on it I would just use a dry microfibre ceaning cloth. They seem to trap any dust pretty well.
