cleaning your lcd tv

My LG 32LX2R came with a soft screen cleaning cloth for the actual panel. For the surround i use a duster.

I brought this for cleaning my TFT.
Its well worth paying out the extra few ££ for a proper cleaner after spending hundreds on a TFT..

You should use a damp lint free cloth. :)

Thats what I use on my Bravia and there should be no need to use anything else unless you get something on your screen other than dust.

£7.95! Did you at least win the Dolphin? I have the same stuff, it's excellent, but was only £10 for 2 sets of fluid & 20 cloths.

Would put up a link but I dont know if it is allowed?

My Sagem's got a Glass Screen in front of the LDC so I've no fear in damaging the screen!... But I still just use a Damp Lint Free Cloth... and for more stubborn marks (Kitten Paw Prints when thay try to attack the screen!! ) I use some TFT Wet-Dry Screen Wipes!.

I used to use windowlene and kitchen roll (not joking either) untill I read that it can damage the screen, Thing is it always did a gleaming job it evaporated and left absolutely no marks at all.. now i use a soft cloth which i find a bit more hard work and TBH doesnt do as good a job :(

Ever-so-damp cloth to clean.

Polish dry with a lint-free photographers lens cloth to finish :)

Lint free = no scratching

Anything 100% cotton is fine. Tissue etc will scratch the screen, mind.
Heh. I can't tell who's being sarcastic now. Where what when why how what?
