I do but its at my own risk and i've been doing it for donkey years, i'm very careful long hose gentle air force, makeup brush as its soft, nothing worse than a dusty case.
No smokers in my home. I clean them once a month.

works best on rads and case mesh

Easier said than done. It would take to people to get mine outside. Hoover and soft brushes does it for me.
