Just been clearing out my room & I've discovered a lot of my space is being taken up with old uni notes, in several boxes of files etc...

I can't really bring myself to get rid of these... I don't know exactly why as I have not looked at them in the past 5 years but even still, it's a part of my life...

Anyone still have their uni (or indeed school, or any other course) notes years after finishing, and if so - where / how do you store them?

It's taking up too much room at the mo & the boxes look a bit unsightly!

Yea i generally keep hold of way too much stuff inc Uni notes and folders etc. Luckily our loft is a giant storage space so they are just kept up there out of the way :p

Got most of my schoolwork still, although a lot is on hard drives like college. Haven't looked at any of it though, and I will most likely keep all uni notes as well.

I've kept my notes from uni at my parents and in fact I think I've still got quite a lot of notes from high school. I probably should get rid of some of them but they're stored in the attic and the space isn't currently needed for anything else.

I recently completed a course called the legal practice course - they told us to bring a large brief case to collect all the books. Me being a 'manly man' decided to take two rucksacks - worst idea ever.

There must be at least 80kg worth of books and notes that I was given on that course, currently taking up an extremely large chunk of my room in the biggest suitcase my family own... there is so much that the lid on the suitcase doesn't close

Waiting to be shoved in the attic, obviously :D

I feel really bad about throwing my notes in the bin but I will probably not keep them.

I made 500 A4 pages of notes just for one exam :O

I only just got rid of my A level stuff. Needed the room to be honest. Have eight draws in my desk and seven of them were full of notes :/ Nice to be able to put stuff away now.

Put an entire day or two aside and go through all of the them section by section deciding whether anything is worth keeping. A lot of mine were just illegible notes taken in lectures, which saw the bin pretty quickly. Others were colour-coded hand-written revision guides I'd written myself prior to exams. I scanned these into big PDFs on my laptop and then archived the hard copies in lever arch files. By the time I'd whittled down the rubbish, there really wasn't that much to store.

You'll never forgive yourself if you miss out on that one big opportunity because you didn't have your old undergrad notes to remind you of the basics!

Gotta say i don't think I've ener thrown any educational notes away... I still have stuff from nursery! Luckily my parents have a lot of space... My masters stuff won't be thrown away either.

None of my notes would ever have been useful to me, so I threw them away. I kept a few choice assignments, projects and my dissertation, but that was all.
