This is the space i have for a rad

Will be cooling a 2600k @4.5ghz, will be @100% for days/weeks at a time due to folding.

280x190mm, the depth is not an issue as you can see :p

What rad would you stick in there?

Im ok finding a block for the cpu but i need a pump or pump/res. Ive had an xspc bay res and pump before but the noise was horrible.

looking at the ek dc 2.2 with the side mounted mini res?

I dont really have a budget but no point in spending extra for 1 or 2 % gain.

Tube size. is 10/13mm big enough?

Cheers!

Looks like you can fit a full size rad with push/pull fans in there :)

I would suggest the top of the range EK rad, and as for the pump what you suggested sounds quite good. For tubing, I'd get 7/16" tubing and 1/2" barbs, means the hose is nice and tight with a much lower chance for leaks :)

Ive found a couple a 240 rads @54mm depth that will just fit height wise.

I managed to clear that space by drilling out a few rivets and removing the lower hdd cage as i wasnt using it. Im also a good metal worker so making brackets etc is kiddies play :D

Going by THIS

The SR-1 is the best:

YOUR BASKET
1 x OcUK Tech Lab - D5 Vario Pump & Alphacool Clear HF D5 Top Value Combo £84.98
1 x Hardware Labs Black ICE SR-1 240 Radiator £69.98
1 x EK Supreme HF CPU Waterblock - Nickel Plexi £56.99
1 x EK Dual Bay Spin Reservoir - Acetal £46.99
1 x Mayhems Pastel - Blueberry Blue Coolant 1L £14.99
2 x Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1450 RPM - 3 Pin £12.98 (£25.96)
1 x Masterkleer Hose Pack PVC 15,9/11mm (7/16ID) Clear 3.3m £10.88
1 x OcUK Tube Cutter Aluminum 3-14mm £8.50
8 x OcUK 1/2" G1/4 - FatBoy Style - Black Nickel - Barb Fitting £1.68 (£13.44)
1 x OcUK Value PSU Bridging Connector (24 Pin) £1.30
Total : £346.02 (includes shipping : £10.00).

the pump i've included is more powerful so you can add a GPU later and it is silent. If you have the money, it offers good futureproofing

I somehow doubt a rad will fit there.

rads have bulkheads at the top which will mean that it cannot mount there.

I could be wrong...

op says he has room for :

280x190mm, the depth is not an issue

so , XSPC EX240 120mm Radiator - Black should fit...just about....

Dimensions: 121 x 35.5 x 275mm (WxDxH)

Correct, the max height is 282mm measured with a tape. width is approx 204mm

Quite a few rads are between 275 and 280 tall... thats hoping the specs are 100% bang on. I hope :D

the ek dc 2.2 should be fine, i run the 4.0 and its been fine for 2 rads , 2 gpus and cpu.......its quite small aswell, so i asume the 2.2 is smaller too......cant say i can hear it either over the the noise of the fans....
