Clicking noise when braking?

I have a Peugeot 306 and whenever I apply the foot brake (more so firmly) I can hear a single click, its not a loud click, but it is there

Anyone know what this might be?

Duff adjuster on the back drums.

Whats a duff adjuster? Is it serious? its coming from the front though?

Well Ive only noticed it yesterday, but if I got the radio on I cant hear it.

Front? Hmm, not adjuster then. Possibly a sticking caliper and you can hear it twisting and popping back into place.

Sure it's not just the brake light switch/relay? They are noticeable in automatics, but still exist in manuals I assume.
